In Tomorrow Is but an Assumption, I create three-dimensional recordings shaped more by time than place by the Now rather than the Here. I capture the fleeting moment when the edge of the sun disappears below the horizon, the transcendent beauty of sunset. The digital traces of the image merge to reconstruct the visual experience, taking on sculptural form and returning to the physical world for contemplation, an inversion of contemporary experience.
