Buildings and Trees Are Also Blue is a construction of a digital replica of Athens, created using views from the city’s hills. Familiar places, streets, squares, old houses are transformed into a mesh of digital points that, while once present (or still present), are lost in the attempt to compose a strange kind of topography. I create non-realistic representations of space, derived from real images and recordings of a world both fabricated and real at the same time.
