False Sense of Familiarity examines improvised spatial arrangements in public spaces. Crates, umbrella stands, and cemented flowerpots create suspended places caught between private and public realms through their perpetually temporary placement. I observe these threshold structures and collect these submerged objects. Focusing on the relationships that unfold in the urban environment through claims, conflicts, and competition, I create hybrids of imagination and experience.
